The company offered zero-emission portable battery generators designed to replace traditional diesel generators, providing clean, quiet, and dependable temporary power. Founded in 2020 after co-founders Paul Huelskamp and Alex Meek witnessed diesel generators polluting their Mill Valley neighborhood during the 2019 California wildfire season. Moxion's units delivered 75 kilowatts of power and over 600 kilowatt-hours of energy. The company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in August 2024 after investor funding fell through.
